The Foreign Minister of Turkey said that the situation about the abidance of Crimean Tatar people’s rights in the Crimea is “unacceptable”. According to the agency RBK: “The rights of the people in the Crimea and especially of the Crimean Tatars are violated”. Turkey is going to send an “unofficial delegation to observe the violation of human rights” to the Crimea
The reason of such an abrupt statements was the case that some media, i. e. the Crimean Tatar channel “ATR”, the Crimean news agency “QHA”, the newspaper “Avdet”, the broadcast “Meidan FM” and “Leader”, the children’s channel “Lale”, stopped working. The cause of that was the fact that those media hadn’t been re-registered according to the Russian law.
Of course, that matter could not be unnoticed by the American Department of State which blamed Moscow. The apostles of democracy, those who organize “colour revolutions” all around the world, demanded to return immediately everything as it had been before. The same requirements were declared by the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy whose reaction on murders, tortures and repressions in Ukraine was quite calm.
Meanwhile, Turkey, which values a lot the “Turkish gas stream” and the Russian tourist stream, seems to be keen on the matters of regulation in the neighbor country. The Crimean Tatars are given unprecedented rights, Crimean Tatar is an official language in the Crimea, the Crimean Tatar people and organizations are not infringed on anything. However, they don’t have to demand something but must just follow the common rules of the Russian laws.
